Video help for homework

As you know, the teachers at Jordan Hills are receiving iPads to use in their classrooms. Thanks to Mrs. Bachman's help, I've learned how to make tutorials for you to view for help with different areas. I'll be posting the tutorials on our blog and hopefully they will be helpful to you with your homework. Sometimes I might even show you a few answers!

Of course, you are always welcome to watch the videos for the other grade. :)

First off for fourth grade a measurement tutorial:

Next for fourth grade. Evaluating equations with algebra:

For fifth grade. Adding and subtracting with decimals.

For fifth grade. Multiplying with decimals.

For fifth grade. Dividing with decimals.

Jump Rope for Heart Day

Today, our class participated in Jump Rope for Heart. We've been working all year on improving our cardio health and it showed today.

My favorite class:

My favorite class being silly:

Our first station involved the game Jump the River. Here's Jordan!

Jenna celebrates her leap.

Elsie flying through the sky.

Our next station involved hula hooping.

Our final station was jump roping.

Some of the kids wanted to see if they could "jump" rope while during push ups. Here's Max's attempt.

Kyle flys high on his attempt.

 Being silly again:

We sure do like to have a lot of fun together! I'll be posting more pictures and video next week after I recharge the camera.
